White Tea
White teas are most commonly grown in China and sometimes Taiwan. The leaves are dried naturally or with the help of fans to eliminate some (but not all) moisture.
A common misconception is that white tea has the least caffeine. This may be true of a well-aged white tea, but these teas are rare and prized. Most commercial white teas are freshly picked and have the most caffeine of any tea family! People asking about lower caffeine in teas should go drink a kukicha or hojicha.
